The committee of the local branch if (he R.S.A. held an inquiry into T.a lenient s recently made regarding soldier mental patients. Tim member who made the allegations cited three cases ■which he contended bad been wrongfully committed. He
■ailed as witnesses the relative of me patient and one who had been a. patient, also a lady visilor lo t tic* institution. Il was alleged Unit one soldier, with a wound in his laud;, had not received proper medical alien! ion.
The inquiry was adjourned till ibis evening, to enable an inquiry lo be made at the Magistrate’s Court office.
