When the House of Representatives met this afternoon, .Mr Masters (Stratford) drew attention to llie position wih regard to the subsidy on blitter 'of the small dairy farmers who manufacture separator butter because there was no dairy factory in their vicinity. Farmers who supplied dairy factories were to receive a subsidy of (Id per lb., but no provision appeared to have been made for those avlio were less fortunately placed in remote districts. Mr Masters asked if the same consideration would be extended them as k> (hose who snpulied factories.
