On Saturday a sweepstake was tired j'or at ranges 500 and 000 yds. The weal her conditions —a dull light alid a cold, weslerly wind — were unfavourable, lint some good scores were made. Messrs H. Hand and 11. Frankland each made a ‘•'possible.'’ There was a good attendance, including Mr S. Hai'ber, a new member. The lirsl prize oi. His was won by Mr H. Hand, second prize of Ss going to Mr .
