MARRIAGE AMENDMENT BILL.

The Government has accepted the suggestion to refer the amendments made in the Legislative Council to the Marriage Amendment Bill to a Select Commit tee of the House of; Representatives. The lion. E. P. Lee moved that the Bill he referred to a committee consisting of the Hon. G. J. Anderson, Messrs G. W. Forbes, A. Harris, R. F, Hudson, the Kt. lion. W. F. Massey, H. Poland, M. J. Savage, T. K. Sidey, 1C A. Wright, and the mover. The committee is to have power to call for papers, persons, and records.
