SUBMITTED TO PULL COURT. • Wellington, Sept. 24. The Full Court is bearing the appeal by the secretary of the Price Investigation Board, Christchurch, against several firms from the judgment of Air McCarthy, SAL, dismissing the information laid against defendants for selling certain goods at a price that was unreasonably high. The information concerned the sale of Big Ben clocks at a price of 255. The defendant firms wore hound to sell the clocks at rates fixed from lime to time hy the manufacturers. it was proved that some of the lirms bought as wholesalers and resold as retailers at the respective retail prices fixed; also that the practice-held of selling at replacement vnlnesv The Magistrate found both these practices reasonable, and that the profit* made were based on a fair and reasonable rale of commercial profit,
