SENSATIONAL SUICIDE.
Auckland, Kept. 18. Corporal Sidney Gibson, late New Zealand Field Artillery, jumped from I lie Grafton bridge this morning and was found between the gravestones in the cemetery with his neck broken. He was last working at Rotorua as a labourer. Last night lie appeared normal. This morning he said to an acquaintance; “For God's sake get a policeman to arrest me. 1 am going mad. He dashed down the street, and evidently went direct to the Grafton bridge. Gibson jvas 20 years old, and it is believed that his mother is in Sydney.
