MANAWATU SHOW.
The IhiiMy-IHth of the Manawatn and West Coast A. & P. Association’s Spring Show is set down for the 3rd. 4th and sth November next, and the secretary advises that the prize schedules tor same are now available. The prize list is right up-to-date with a long list of special prizes and trophies. R(‘cognising the verv important position to be maintained, and that there is no question of standing still, Hie Committee .has ibis year increased the prize moneys in the live stock divisions by 20 per i-eul. on last year's figures. There are some very high prize.- lo be paid out in the Jersey and Friesian classes, the former being £SO between the champion Jersey bull and champion Jersey cow, £2O and £3O respectively. The Friesian special prizes are for Hie besl yearling heifer, and arc £25, £ls, £lO, £5, £3 and £2, a total of £OO, It is anticipated that 'the cattle pavilion at Palmorslon North will contain the most Aainable assemblage of purebred cuttle ever brought together at any New Zealand show, oil November 4th.
