The brilliant Moldwyn artiste, who in a short year has won a plane in the forefront among screen slat's, will delight thousands in the role of a burlesque soubretle in this perfect picture play. It depicts the story of a girl of the stage, Lucille Le Jambon (Madge Kennedy), who is forced to light an entire town to prove that, despite her calling, site is as good, if not lie!ter, than those who have joined to persecute her. In her light against tremendous odds, Lucille wins the friendship of the Rev. David Grayling, who had helped to stop the performance of the troupe with which Lucille had arrived in town. Urged bv the parson, she quits the troupe and opens a dancing school. One;' more she is attacked by a sanctimonious church committee, led by John Griswold, the deacon. Threatened with banishment from the town, Lucille arranges a shocking surprise for the deacon. ’With him present, she shows a motion picture revealin'’' Griswold in orgies with chorus girls in Chicago. This surprise is 1 allowed by another, when the parson announces his coming marriage to Lucille.
