SUCCESSFUL LOCAL CANDIDATES.' Ihe following local candidates were successful at the Trinity College musical examination conducted by Air Charles Sehilsky, at Palmerston on Thursday:— intermediate division. Ruby •King (Miss Honore), 70. Junior division. —Kathleen Hornblow (Miss Honore) 05, Esma Oxley (Miss Honore) 02. CONVEX T CAN DIDATES. Air Sehilsky examined the local Convent candidates yesterday, and the following are the results:— Senior.—Rena Barber 81 (honours). Intermediate. —Alaggie Hynes 74, Winnie. Smith 71. Junior. —Sevinonr Small (violin) 73. Preparatory.—Alay Wilson 85 (honours), Mavis Graham 75, Katie Roore 72, Doris Whibley 71, Alajory Hunt 0(5. First Steps.—Aladge AIcColI 70. All the candidates presented were successful in passing.
