AMENDED CHANGES. The lion. J. 0. At the four principal exchanges, viz., Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, the minimum rate for business subscribers will be £9 10s per annum for the first mile or fraction thereof. A few example-- of the effect: of the reduction are as follow: —Private residence subscribers distant three miles from the exchange now charged £l2 per annum will be required to pay only £ll, Those distant five miles get a reduction of £2 per annum. A business subscriber whose premises are distant three miles from the exchange will gel a reduction of £1 per annum, and so on.
