Tito Prince received over a thousand farewell messages from all classes, expressing, as Mr Hughes’ farewell message also expresses, Ihe enduring place the Prince has won in the hearts of all. The Gov-ernor-General, in a message to the King, concludes; “He has eirdeared himself to ail, and it is with infinite regret: that the Government and people of Australia bid him goodbye.” THE HOMEWARD JOURNEY. The Colonial Office publishes the homeward itinerary of the Prince of Wales. In the course of his journey he will make brief stays at various places en route. The itinerary is as follows ; 10th August. —Departure from Sydney. 24th August.—At Fiji. 25th August.—At Suva. 80th August.—At Hawaii. Ist September. —At Honolulu. 10th September.—At Acapulco (Mexico). 14th September. —At Panama. 19th September. —At Jamaica. 2.lst September.—At Grenada. 24th September. —At Trinidad. 20th September.—At Demerit ra (British Guiana). ' 28th September.—At Antigua. 3rd October. —At Bermuda. 11th October. —Arrival at Portsmouth.
