ROYAL PICTURES.

She craved for a man who was ‘‘different,” and found him —burgling her pantry!' This, in a nutshell, is the story told in the new (lohlwyn feature, ‘‘The City of Comrades," in which your favourite hero, Tom Moore, is the burglar, and pretty Seena Owen tin* girl. The story goes that Frank Melbnry is down and out, and hungry. A gentleman horn and bred, he comes at last to the point where hunger overcomes his scruples, and he tries his hand at burglary. He is surprised by the girl —Regina Barry —in the pantry. She falls in love with him. Of course, it is a long story before she finds herself in bis arms. Don’t miss this picture, at the Royal tonight. A story that is interesting because it is “different” is the theme of a new Fox photoplay, “Sacred Silence,” a production so big and of such keen human interest that it will reai'lt the hearts of everybody. The popular William Hassell is the star —his first appearance under the Fox banner —and his virile personality is always a great force in the presentation of his screen characters. “Sacred Silence,” adapted from a famous stage play, “The Deserter," throbs will) adventure and pathos. Love is here, and valour, loo —the valour that makes a man give his all in sacrifice to save a. woman's honour. “Sacred Silence” will he shown on Monday.
