PRINCE TO VISIT SAMOA.
The Renown, conveying Die Prince of Wales on his homeward journey, will call at the island of Upoiu, Western Samoa, on 2111 1 August. The Prince, as, soon as lie lias landed then’, will inspect returned soldiers, and will then he welcomed by (he whip* population. Following’ this, the Fringe will visit the historic village of Mulinuu, where he will he received and welcomed by the leading chiefs. Afterwards there will be a Samoan l'ea.-d, a homage ceremony, and the presentation of gifts by the Samoans. This will.be followed by Samoan dances and chants. What remains of the day will he devoted lo a motor ride along the coast road. Private advices received here by last mail state (hat (he Renown will leave Sydney on UUh August. A cable message from Sydney .-tales the Prince is indulging-in hard riding in the West, and is kangaroo and emu hunting. He is enjoying excellent health.
