FOXTON RACING CLUB.
NOMINATION OF OFFICERS
Nominations-of officials for the Foxton Racing Club for the ensuing year closed last night. The following are the names of those nominated: —President, Mr J. R, Whyte; vice-presidents, Messrs Dr. Mandl, C. E. Robinson, O. Robinson, and W. E. Barber; treasurer, Mr R. Bryant; stewards and committee, Messrs G. C. Coley, H. Coley, J. Burr, A. N. Smith, S. Easton, P. Easton, W. T. Jewell, E. D. Whibley, R. Bryant, W. Petrie, H. G. Hammond, M. E. Perrean, J. Purcell and S. Jackson. As only nine stewards are required and fourteen have been nominated, an election will be held at the annual meeting of members, which takes place early next month.
