The separation of .Industries and Commerce from the .Department of Agriculture, and the establishment
of a Department of Industries and Commerce has been followed by the allotment of a new portfolio to the Hon. E. P. Lee. The Board of Trade, of which Mr Lee is president: and Mr W. G. McDonald chairman, has been incorporated Avith the new Department. Mr L W. Collins, secretary to the Board of Trade, has been appointed secretary to (be new Department.
