In “The Love Defender,” June Elvidge takes the role of a young wife who sees her husband in clanger of being led astray by the lure of a former charmer, and all the womanly feeling within her rises in defence of her love. The fight is almost too much for her, but in the end she wins out, and her husband returns to her arms. It is, a fine theme, fiuel| developed, and the role suits the popular star to perfection. Don’t miss ibis picture at the Royal to-morrow night.
