RACING.
The attendance at Trcnllnun on Saturday, when the Metropolitan Club’s "Winter Meeting concluded in tine weather, was larger than on the opening day, and a record for a winter meeting. The totalisator turnover amounted to £90,139, making £104,028 for the meeting. Last: July, a three days’ gathering, the turnover amounted to £112,889.
Tin; electric totalisntor wns responsible for two records for the Trent ham course, viz,, the investments for the day, which totalled £90,139, and the amount handled in the Kia Ora Handicap, £10,113 10s, the biggest amount put through on any race.
