KILLED WHILE FIG-HUNTING.
Taumarunui, Yesterday
To-day a married man, named Henry Coe, a returned soldier, aged 3(5, formerly a bailiff in the Taumarumu Court, was accident ally killed while pig-hunting, lids dogs had bailed up ;i pig, and Coe proceeded to beat the dogs off with the hull-end of a = pearille, which ex-., ploded. Die bullet wounding him in the groin. He expired almost immediately. The fatality happened at Wiiituhi. ‘
