TWO WIVES.
A WELLINGTON MARRIAGE,
A returned soldier named Alfred Chambers, aged 25, admitted in the Police Court (says an Auckland message) that though he was married before he enlisted, he went through a form of marriage on his return with Catherine Marie Ross, at Wellington, early last year. The accused pleaded that he understood his former wife was dead. He was committed to the Supremo Court for sentence.
