BARBER’S RASH.
AN UNUSUAL CASE,

A somewhat unusual ease came before .Mr F. Jv. Hunt, S.M., at the Magistrate’s Court, when Bernard Jj. Arr<*wsmi( h sued Harry ('leal, to recover £llß ss.
The plaintiff stated that, on March 17th, 1010, the defendant, or his servant, shaved plaintiff, and it was alleged, as the result of such sinning, that the plaintiff had contracted “barber’s rash.” This was also alleged to be due to the neglect of the defendant or his servant. Plaintiff claimed that he had lost eight weeks’ work' as an engineer, and also had suffered great pain and anguish of mind and body, and had incurred medical expense. Plaintiff, therefore, claimed £SO general damages, £SO for the loss of eight weeks’ wages at £7 per week, £lO 10s for medical attendance, and £1 15s for mediein.es —a, total of £llß
After hearing medical evidence the plaintiff was nonsuited.
