THE PRICE OF BOOTS.
Wanganui, July 14. At the sub-provincial executive meeting of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, Mr Gregor McGregor stated that he considered it was time the Union directed the attention of the manufacturers to the fact that there had been a drop in hides and tallow. He moved that' the Board of Trade be asked to explain why no reduction had been made in the pi’ice of boots to the public. The motion tv as carried unanimously.
