BOROUGH FINANCES.
The Borough Treasurer reported at last night’s Council meeting as follows: —
During the month of June the sum of £D2I 5s lid was received, and placed lo the credit of accounts as under; District fund account £1)07 10s lid, cemetery account £l3 15s od. The balances of the various accounts at the Bank of N.Z. at the 30th day of Juno, 1920, were as follows: —Imprest cash £lO, gasworks £227 (is (id, general £205 12s 9d, hospital and charitable aid £5 Is 10d, library £3 13s lOd, reserves £lO 12s 8(1, interest £173 8s 3d, all at debit, a total of £095 15s Od. The accounts in credit were; Cemetery £B9 -Is 4d, contractor’s deposit £l, sanitation £192 19s Od, (own hall £59 5s 7d, total £342 7s lid. SUMMARY. A/es in Cred. 342 7 11 Bank Bal. D.F.
