ROYAL PICTURES.

The eternal cussedness of the fair sex is the prime motive of the story in the new Goldwyn comedy-drama to he screened to-night, starring the e\'er-popular Tom Moore as a mounted policeman avlio loves an heiress —and why shouldn’t he? It happens to he very clearly demonstrated why lie should rage against this feminine eussediicss. He reprimands a girl for speeding in Hit park, and she starts to have him disciplined for the fancied affront. Then he rescues her from a nomuray horse, and she fumes at his interference. He rails against the characteristic inconsistency, but lie gels her in tbe end, and you have a diverting comedy and a happy ending.

On Monday a special Fox programme will he screened, including two star features. In one ot these, “The Fire Brand,” the popular Virginia Pearson takes the leading rule. It is a story of Russia, aiid conditions in that country are vividly depicted in the picture, in Avhhdt Miss Pearson gives a stirring interpretation of tiie feelings and actions of a Russian girl of noble birth who is bewildered by the revolution and the revolutionists. She finds that the worst' enemies of her country are the aristocrats, and she joins the revolt. The other feature film shows the pantomime “Fan Fan,” in which (he talented Lee kiddies are starred. The usual prices only will lie charged for this great programme.
