RIFLE SHOOTING.
► , Last Saturday the final shoot for 'the Munson and Barr trophy was held, ton shots at 300 yards range. The weather conditions were not good, the day being overeast, with rain towards the end of the shoot. The results are as follows: — Yds.
Counting 1 the best two slioots, (he final results eomo out us follows: —• A. Barnard, -18 and 47 —1)5; 4. Hartley, ■). .Rider and C. Hand tied for second prize (100 rounds of ammunition), with 03 each. The lirslnamed, having the lowest handicap, Avon the ammunition, and of the other two, J. Hider made the higher score at 300 yards, and won the third prize (os cash). \V. O’Brien .made 02, and 11. Hamer and J. Claris 01 each. The Committee lias decided that this he the- last trophy shoot this season. However, any members wishing to continue shooting every week may do so, making their own arrangements as to marking, etc.
