THE CHRISTCHURCH CASES

Reserved judgment was delivered this morning l>y Mr McCarthy, S.M., in the series of charges brought by the Crown in respect of various charges of profiteering. Six of the (uses concerned the sale of alarmclocks, ond the seventh the sale of m child's coat. The Magistrate dismissed the eases in respect of the alarm clocks, but imposed a tine of £SO on the D.T.C. in respect of the sale of a child’s coat.
