RIFLE SHOOTING.
The last shoot for the vases presented by Collinson and Son, and Kev. Halite's 80 rounds of ammunition, was held last Saturday, during very bad weal her. There was a fair attendance, hut very soon after the shooting commenced steady rain set in, and spoilt the enjoyment mid scores of everyone present. C. Hand was the winner of the vases, with a total of 128 points. J. Claris captured the 80 rounds, with 127 (mints. J Hartley and C. Barnard •lied for third place, with 125 each. Suturdav’s scores are as follows: — Yds. Yds.
A committee meeting will be held to-morrow (.Wednesday) evening.
