MAY GRADING DETAILS. The following table shows the number of bales in the various grades at each port in the Dominion during the month of May: — Good High
Sixly-nine bales at Fieion were graded fint*. Three halos at Foxlon and 27 nl Wellington were rejected. Tin; nninher of hales graded at emdi port was as follows: —Auckland 2,082, Foxlon 1,578, Wellington 3,150, Pieton 83, Blenheim 93, Napier 591, Dunedin 309, Bluff 408. The nninher of hales in each igrado throughout, the Dominion was as under, the total for the corresponding month of: last year being given in parentheses: —Fine 99 (nil), good fair 2,533 (1,411), highfair 4,389 (2,981), fair .1,1.83 (1,839), common 90 (285), rejected 30 (42), total 8,294 (9,558). The following are the details of thi‘ tow graded :
Four hales were condemned at uickland.
The totals in each grade were as under, the corresponding month of last year being given in parentheses: —First 501 (197), second 1.011 (924), third 71 (412), condemned -I (15), total 1,587 (1,248).
