WEDDING.

TONG—BAUCKHAM

A pretty wedding was celebrated at the residence of Mr W. D. Bauckham, “Nga Toetue,” Park Street, on Wednesday afternoon, when his eldest daughter Jessie was married to Mr Herbert Tong, son of Mr and Mrs Tong, of Palmerston North. The bride was attended by her sisters Keltic and Lillian as bridesmaids, and Mr Ern. Thorn, cousin of the bride, officiated as best man. The ceremony was .performed by Captain Collin. After the ceremony llig relatives and friends adjourned to the Park Street Hall, where the wedding breakfast was partaken of. The newly married couple, who were the recipients of many presents, left by the afternoon train for Palmerston North’, where they will take up their residence.
