To-dqyffhe local seniors? are playing Jlui Mai, at Manakau, and the juniors are playing Koputaroa on the Foxton.ground. -
Mr George-Coley, of Foxton, has presented a handsome silver cup, valued at 20 guineas, for competition in Horowhenua Union, and it has been decided that same shall he allocated for the junior competition. The eup is at present on view in Mr J. Walls' shop window. The Rangitikei Union has written inquiring the prospects of Horowhenua sending up a rep.team on June 12th. There is every probability of the invitation being accepted, : as it will give the local reps, a game together before meeting Manawatu on the following Saturday. With the big matches so close at hand, it behoves flayers with representative aspirations to get into their best form. # .
