A SENSATIONAL INCIDENT.

Tauranga, Yesterday

A sensational incident occurred at Omorawa Palls yesterday afternoon, happily without serious result, •when the three-year-old daughter of Mr A. d. Gallagher, Papamoa, slipped over a cliff above, the falls and dropped clear into a pool below a few feet from the fool of Hie falls. The father rushed- from where the child fell to the bottom of Iho falls, and discovered her floating a lew feet from the bank, fhe child was found to be bruised about the head and apparently dead, but prompt measures restored animation. 'fhe child was brought in to the hospital, and is reported this morning to be out of danger.
