FOXTON MINISTERS’ ASSOCIATION.

The monthly meeting' of the ahove was held at the Presbyterian .Manse yesterday, I lie Rev. Ra.ine presiding. The secretary (Rev. Halliday) reported regarding the musical evening given by Mr Robert Darkness (late of the Chapman-Alevander \lis.-ion) in the Methodist Church. Arrangements were made so that the Association would, lake part in the unveiling of the monument to the memory of those* who had lalten in the laic* war. railed services will be held every Tuesday evening, at 7.11> o clock, as follows: May —LSI h, Salvation Army Hall, Rev. It wa-- suggested that the Church Courts should consider the advisability of changing Ihe Sabbath evening hour of worship from 7 to (Pit) o’clock durbar the winter evening months. ’ ft was agreed that in the event of the Slate School as well as Snndav schools being temporarily closed owing to the epidemic, that during the period a request should bo made to the authorities to prohibit children entering picture shows.

Ollier matters for the / moral ami spiritual uplift of the town were discussed.
