HAILWA YMEN’S VIEWS. Napier, May 3. The following resolutions were passed at a mass- meeting - of railwaymen held at the workshops last evening:— “This meeting of representatives of the railwayman strongly urges the Government to deal with the cost of living, and effectually with exploiters, thereby keeping prices down to a minimum; tailing this, all workers are urged to press for automatic: increase of wages.” “This meeting notices with pleasure a Board of Trade met ice in the daily papers restricting prices during the strike. If prices can he controlled during a strike, why not during times of peace?”
