MOTOR CAR OVERTURNS.
DEATH OF TWO .MEN. . Ashburton, April 30. A fatal motoring accident occurred on Wakanui road, near Ashburton, yesterday. The motor ear contained Messrs Hay Smith, stockdealer, owner iuul driver of the car, ■Prank .Campbell, local manager of the Loan and Mercantile Agency, and George Bramloy, a returned soldier, who lost a leg in the war. The lat ter escaped uninjured, Imt-Camp-bell was killed outright, and Smith died a Her admission jo the hospital. The car apparently got into a rut, and became 1 unmanageable, and overturned, pinning 1 . Campbell and Smith underneath. An inquest will lie held (his afternoon.
