ROYAL PICTURES.

Touching scenes abound in the “Temple of Dusk, the latest picture play starring Se»ue flayakawa. the 'famous Japanese actor, which will he screened to-night. When an evil fate brings dishonour lo the father of the little girl whose mother he loved, and whose child lie swore to guard. Hayakawa, a- .Akira, Ihe young pool, quaintly stating that “never must prison disgrace come (o Ihe father of little Blossom," takes on his own shoulders the consequences of; the others crime, and meets his fate, secure in the mantle ot honour that is his creed. Into the “temple ot Dusnhe passes to claim his great reward for a noble sacrifice. “The Rainbow Trail,” to he screened on Monday, is a continuation of “Hitlers of the Purple Sage,” recently shown, and brings William T’armuu buck in the role of the leaved range rider, Lassiter. It is a .strong Western tale, packed with love and heart interest, and affords an unusual number of real thrills. It is one of the host Farnum productions ever shown here. The scenes are largely laid in the Grand Canyon of Arizona, and from a scenic standpoint the picture probably excels anything of the sort yet undertaken by photoplay producers. The scenery is not the whole thing in this picture, however, as many scenes in “The Rainbow Trail" rise to great heights of dramatic intensity.
