ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH.

ANNUAL MEETING OF PARISHIONERS. The annual meeting of parishionevs of All Saints’ Church was held the -schoolroom on Thursday night. The Vicar, Rev. W. Raine. presided over a moderate attendance of parishioner.'-. After the minutes of the last annual meeting had beetread and confirmed, the Vicar read his annual report-.- This was followed by the reading and adoption of the balance-sheet, which showed a balance in hand of .CSS 18s lOd. The Vicar announced that he had appointed Mr G. A, Tver as his warden for Ihe •ensuing twelve months. Mr A. S. Easton was the only nominee for the post of people's warden, and was declared duly elected. This makes Mr Easton’s thirty-sixth year of office, a tritely wonderful record. Tint following were elect ml us the vestry:—Messrs W. E. Barber, J. Stuckey, C. H. Symons, F. Robinson, W. Nyc, C. Spiers, It. T. Betty. L. J. Fnrrie, F. Moorhou.-e, and I). Christie. Mr F. Symes was accorded a vote of thanks for auditing the accounts, and a-ked to once more accept the position. The election to the office of Synodsnum for the next three years resulted in 'the appointment of Mr A, Fraser. Very hearty votes of thanks were accorded to the Ladies' Guild, Mr Betty, and the choir, and Mrs F. Robinson, for her work on behalf of St. Mfiry’s Home. Tly* Vicar's report stated that, there had been a successful year's work in every department.
