BOWLING.

The.finals in the Shannon Hi. Patrick's .Day Annual Pairs Competition was played on the Shannon green' on Saturday afternoon. At the conclusion of play on Si. Patrick's Day throe pairs had won all four games played. These teams were; Stephenson and Jolly (Palmerston), Roore and F. Whibley (Foxton), and Pike and Pollock (Levin). On Saturday the semi-final was drawn, Foxton getting a bye. Pollock easily defeated Jolly, the score being 18 to 8, and one bead to play. In the final, Pollock had another easy win, scoring 19 to 0. At the conclusion of the play Mr Running, president of the Shannon Club, presented the trophies to the winners.
