Investigating Tribunal stated that at the present .lime-(he tribunal was conductin“- investigations in pursuance of complaints received affecting tea, coal, woollen goods, wheat, milk, and house property. With regard to wheal, as the regulations governing 1 ire price had not. been published prior to 121 h April, the tribunal had • merely ordered refunds in some cases in
which the prices (-barged were considered excessive, and had warned (ho merchants concerned (hat, the prices having now been published, any further transactions in which prices in excess of those published were charged would he dealt with under the Aei.
There were many complaints of a minor nature before the tribunal, and so far those received .from the public, had been so numerous that, the tribunal bad not been able to conduct any investigations on its own account.
