Arrangements had been made to complete the Triangular competition between the Levin, Shannon and Fox lon Clubs, pm the local green yesterday afternoon, when four Foxion rinks were to piny two rinks each from Shannon and Levin. However, just before midday Shannon advised that they were unable to send their teams over, and consequently only the-games against Levin could he played. To complete the competition a two-rink' match between Shannon and Foxton has yet: to be played, and it is hoped to get ..nine off next Wednesday afternoon. Foxton have yet to play two games against Shannon, and as they only require to score 21 points in the two games to win, it looks almost certain (hat Iho Shield will be held locally this year.
