Arrangements had been made to complete the Triangular competition between the Levin, Shannon and Fox lon Clubs, pm the local green yesterday afternoon, when four Foxion rinks were to piny two rinks each from Shannon and Levin. However, just before midday Shannon advised that they were unable to send their teams over, and consequently only the-games against Levin could he played. To complete the competition a two-rink' match between Shannon and Foxton has yet: to be played, and it is hoped to get ..nine off next Wednesday afternoon. The following are the teams and scores in the games against Levin : I). Whihley Roc . • Mandl ’ Brown Hawke Bull F. Whihley (5)35 Pyke (.-■) ’ 17 Walker * Williams ChriMie Reading Woods Higgins Xye (s) 19 Pollock (s) ,25 The following are the total points scored by each Chib to date: —Levin (8 games) 165, -Poxton (.6 games (145), Shannon ((> games) SS. Foxton have yet to play two games against Shannon, and as they only require to score 21 points in the two games to win, it looks almost certain (hat Iho Shield will be held locally this year. A game for the Xye Ferns was played yesterday afternoon, the holders again being successful. For (he holders Henley, Heasinan and Huntley played as substitutes for Raine, Walker and Woods.
