HARVFST THANKSGIVING SKR VICES. , The harve.-d thanksgiving services in connection with the local .Mclhodisl Clmrch were held on Sunday’ laM. The interior ol' the church was very tastefully decorated with llowers, and a splendid display of I lie fruits of the harvest was arranged on tiers, in front of the pulpit. Tito music was a special feature, hymns and anthems being appropriate to tiro occasion. The singing was accompanied by an orchestra of six instruments under the leadership of Air 11. Osborne, while Air Thorbourne presided at the organ. The preacher for the day was I lie pastor, Rev. Air Harding, whose sermons were in keeping with the occasion. There were large congregations at both services, particularly the evening service. The orchestral selections before and-after the services were of a very high order. To-morrow afternoon, at 12.30 o'clock, a sale of work will be opened in the .Masonic Hall. During the evening vocal and instrumental items will be rendered. The stalls will contain art, plain and fancy needlework, produce, woodwork, etc. 'The price of admission is fid in the afternoon, and the same price in the evening.
