SALE OF AN ESTATE.
Timarn, Yesterday. Part of the famous Trevennn estate. of 571 acres, at Temuka, which is said to be some of the lines! farming land in the Dominion, was submitted at auction yesterday in nine small farm lots of 44 to 81 acres. Two lots of 57 and 47 acres were bought by J. Kernoimn at £OS an acre, and other lots were separately purchased at £94. £76, and £2B per acre. Two lots not sold at auction were sold privately immediately after. CL Murray, of Braemar, who owns some land in the locality, bought 48 acres at £B2. The. other havers were all loeal men.
