Dannevirke, March !.(>. While taking a bull from a paddock at Nmscwood, a tanner named G. Joyner was badly gored. He was rescued in an exhausted condition, and now lies m the Dannevirke hospital in a precarious slate. Auckland, March 1.6, ■Jeremiah Patrick Jones, when evcling, louched a horse driven in a limp by T. H. Stephens. The bicycle became entangled with the harness, and the horse tell on Jones, who was picked up unconscious, and died In the hospital from a fractured skull.
