COST OF LIVING.
• INCREASE IN THE COST OF FLOUR AND BREAD. The local bakers have been informed that the price of flour has been raised £3 per ton, which will mean a further rise of one penny on the 21b. loaf. These prices have been decided upon by the Board of Trade, and will no doubt come into immediate operation.
