RECORD EXPORT VALUES.
Fxporls for the twelve months ended 31st December last reached a value of £52,(134,670 for New Zealand products only and excluding gold-.jn coin and bullion. This is £24,161,173 over the total tor 1018, which was £28,473,407. The figures for this year constilale a record. They arc more than the combined years of 1013 and 1014, which totalled £18,562,607, and included gold which amounted to £2,364.,866. Nor •this year (1019) wool export was represented by £10,550,537; mutton, £4,470,290 ; ' lamb, £3,063,760 ; cheese, £7,700,990; butter, £3,080,128, In the month of December, 1910, only £253",184 of gold was exported. Pelts ..represented in export a value of £1,694,867; tallow; £2,680,006. i Imports were valued at £36,671,430 for 1019, as against £21,233,041 for 1018. 7
