BOROUGH FINANCES.
The Borough Treasurer reported at last night's Council meeting that the sum of £755 Os Cd had been received during the month oi: December and placed to credit as under: District fund account £752 13s Od, , cemetery account, £2 7s Gd. The balances of the various accounts at the Bank of Kew Zealand on December 31s( were as follows: Hospital and charitable aind £lO 10s 2d, ceindtery £SB 17s 2d, reserves £sl 4s 7d, contractors’ deposits £.l, library £2 3s t)d, sanitation £lO5 IDs 7d, and town ball £l4O 12s 4d, a ■total of £471 -Os 7d. The accounts at debit were: Imprest cash £lO,, gas works £99 5s 9d, general £l4O 18s sd, and interest £307 10s Bd, total £Ol7 11s 10d. HUM MARY. A/cs in Credit 471. 10, 7 Bank Bal. D.F.
