On Wednesday afternoon another match for the Xye Ferns was played, the holders defeating’ the challengers by three points after a very interesting game. The teams and scores were: Pearson Crawley Stevenson' .Walker D. Whibley - Christie MeColl (s) 1 21 Bryant (s) 21 -V match for the Club Badges was also played, the holders. Smith and Barr (s). defeating the challengers, Mercer and Huntley (s), by 21 points to 13. A match for the Hixon Cup, between Foxton and Pahiahui, is being played at Pahialua this afternoon.
