NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS.
CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS, 1919-29. Extra Express trains, making usual stops of the Ordinary Expresses, will run between Wellington and Auckland as under: — Leave WELLINGTON 2.0 p.m., Palmerston North 5.14 p.m., Feilding 5.39 p.m., Marton 6.41 p.m., daily (except Sundays, 21st and 28fh December and 4th January). From 18th December to Bth January inclusive, -AUCKLAND arrive 7.50 a.m. This train also stops at Waimarino and Owhango. During the running of this Express, the Ordinary 12.45 p.m. Wel-lingtou-Aucldand Express will NOT take up passengers at Palmerston North, Mercer, or intermediate stations. Passengers from these stations must travel by the Extra Express leaving Wellington at 2.0 p.m., or by the Express leaving Palmerston North on 22nd, 23rd, and 24th December, and 2nd January only, at 2.35 p.m. The Ordinary 4.15 p.m. Wanga-nui-Pahnerston North train will connect at Alarton with the Welling-ton-Anckland Express. From 18th December to Bth January, inclusive, the Ordinary 2.20 p.m. Wanganui-Alarton train will NOT run. LEAVE AUCKLAND 7.40 p.m. daily (except Saturdays 20th and 27th December, and 3rd January) from 18th December to Bth January, inclusive, Alarton depart 9.10 a.m. daily (except Sundays 21st and 28th December, and 4th January) from 19th December to 9th January, inclusive, Feildiug depart 9.51 a.m., Palmerston North depart. 10.23 a.m., Wellington arrive 1.50 p.m. This train also stops at Owhango and Wainmrino. During the running of this Express the Ordinary 7.10 p.m. Auckland-Wellington Express will not lake up pasengers at any station bet’ween Mercer and Palmerston North, inclusive, except tor and from Wainmrino and Waiouru. On the 23rd and 24th December additional Extra Express train, milking the usual .Express train slops, will leave Wellington for Auckland 10.10 p.m., Palmerston North 1.29 a.m. (on 24th and 25th December), Feilding 1.54 a.m., Marlon 2.41 a.m., arriving Auckland 5.20 p.m. On these two days the Ordinary 8.35 p.m. A\ cllingtonAuekland Express will lake passengers only for Taihape and stations north of Taihape. PA LMERSTON NORTH-AUCK-LAND EXPRESS TRAINS. On 22nd, 23rd and 241 h December, and 2nd January, Extra Express Ira ins, making usual Express (rain stops, will run between Pal--merslon North and Auckland as under; —Palmerston North dep. 2-35 p.m,, Feilding 3.1 p.m., Alarton 3.45 p.m., Auckland arrive 5.40 a.m, on 23rd, 24th, 25th December and 3rd January. Leave Auckland 8.40 p.m. on 22nd, 23rd and 24th December, and 2nd January, Marton depart 10.18 a.m., Feilding 10.59 a.m., Palmerston X. arrive 11.21 a.m. on 23rd, 24th and 25th December, and 3rd January.
