PRESBYTERIAN SABBATH SCHOOL.
On Thursday evening' the Presbyterian schoolroom was crowded with parents and children. at the annual 'Social and distribution of prizes, Mr Hornblow presided, and was supported by the minister and Mr Claris. A splendid programme of songs and recitations were given bv the scholars: Pianoforte duets by Miss Joyce Claris imd Miss Ella Patterson, pianoforte duets by Miss Eva Davey and Pianoforte solo by Miss Carla Lundcjidst, duet by Misses Isle and Madge Patterson, and Misses Madge Patterson and Isabella Halliday,' song by Miss Isabella Holliday, two songs by senior scholars, recitations by Ferguson Baildon, Ngaire Ingle, Milton Ingle, Keith Claris, Hunlly Boss, Selwyn Somerville, Agnes Barton, Kathleen Hornbiow, Isabella Halliday, Doris Haydock, Avis Haydock, Madge MeColl, Marjorie McMurray,.Joyce MeMurray, Ida Speirs, Wildon Walls. The ladies of the church provided a splendid supper. Prizes were presented to scholars by Mrs Halliday.
