BOROUGH FINANCES.
Tiro Borough Treasurer reported at Monday night’s Council meeting as follows; — The sum of £OBB 11s 9d was received during the month, and placed to the credit of accounts as under; —- District Fund account £OBS Is 9(1; cemetery account, £3 10s Ocl. The balances of the various accounts at the Bank of New Zealand at the 31st day of October, 1919, were as follows; —District fund accoulit, £IOO 12s 7d; cemetery account, cr., £sl 7s 2d. The ledger balances at (he same date were as follows: —Imprest cash £lO 0s Od, gasworks £337 4s 9d, general £325 12s Id, interest £lO3 12s Sd, library £2 19s 4d, all at debit, a total of £770 8s l()d. The accounts in credit were: —Cemetery £sl 7s 2d, hospital and charitable aid £3O 9s Od, reserves £279 17s lid, sanitation £157 12s hi, and Town Hull £144 10s Od, total £OO4 os sd.
