The calls for help brought the members of Russell’s family and several passers by to the scene, and subsequently Sergeant Edwards and Constable Putt arrived and took the Spaniard into• custody. Carlos was before the Magistrate's Court this morningron charges of causing actyal bodily harm, obscene language, and wilful damage, and was, on the application of SupInspector Emerson, remanded to reappear on Wednesday next.
