GRAFTING OF GLANDS.
PROFESSOR VOR OX OFF'S WORK.
Paris, Oct. IS. Professor VoronolT, writing in Le Journal, in connection with his recent work of glutting glands, says that the secretions of certain glands live for three hours after the death of the body. He advocat es I lie removal of such glands from healthy persons accidentally killed for grafting on; to persons suffering from illness, which the grafting of new glands would remove. He mentioned that such glands call be conserved for a considerable time in cold storage. [Professor Voronofl! 'claims that intestinal glands grafted on aged goats gave renewed youth and vigour, and that they frisked like kids. He states that he has succeeded in grafting glands from monkeys upon human beings, and.that.such grafting will prolong human life.]
